PROFESSIONAL CAREER

 

Félix Lorrio was born in Madrid in 1948. He studied advertising in the Madrid Centre for the Promotion of Spanish Arts (Centro de Fomento de las Artes Españolas  -FAE). He opened a studio in Madrid (1968-1970) doing portraits of artists from cinema, tv and music. He worked as an industrial photographer for companies and advertising agencies and was responsible for the graphic publication of the magazine “The Indescrete Weekly” (“El Indiscreto Semanal” (1971-1974)). He formed part of the “Yeti” group and continued working as an industrial photographer, as well as for daily and weekly press (1975-1979). From that date until the present, he continues to carry out reports in the media, both  national and international.

 

He has taken part in seminars and meetings in various Spanish cities. His work has been published in magazines and catalogues specialising in photography and shown in almost seventy collective expositions:
